I had earlier posted my first album of Patadakkal temples - Part 1.

In this album the photographs depict the Virupaksha temple, the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Mallikarjuna temple.

There are also a few photographs of intricate carvings on stone columns of exquisite beauty and charm.

As one travels thru these temples you will find that the wall panels or columns have tales from the Hindu epics - Ramayan and Mahabharat carved so beautifully narrating the story of the particular event. Apart from these narrative stone carvings there are also innumerable carvings of the feminine form of infinite charm and beauty.

Enjoy the pictures.
