Mexican food has taken America by the storm. For several decades this type of food from Mexico has caught the imagination of the Americans and has become extremely popular. Mexican restaurants invariably run to packed capacity. Whenever we hear about Mexican food the first thing that comes to our mind are the Tacos, Burritos, Tequila and Margaritas. We happened to go to this restaurant which has been touted as one of the popular ones in Atlanta serving traditional, family prepared recipes for tacos, burritos, tamales, carnitas and more. In the words of Alan Raines, the owner of this restaurant:

“We are a Mexican Taqueria and a COFFEE SHOP. We feature a full line of espresso-based drinks & coffee from Counter Culture. Also on deck are tea, Mexican hot chocolate, Agua Fescas and more. The kitchen delivers traditional and off the beaten path foods found across the amazing food paradise that is Mexico. Continuously prepared from scratch daily, our tacos, tamales, soups and mulitas will hopefully bring back vacation memories or create some new ones”
Its popularity can be gauged from the fact that well before the opening hours of the restaurant there was a long line of customers waiting to get in as seen in the photographs. The décor is nothing to write about. Pretty simple and rustic. What attracts is the quality of food. Took the opportunity to take a few photographs while waiting for the food to arrive.

Hope you like the pictures.
