Durga Puja - a magnificent festival in India which is celebrated with great religious fervour and style. This is essentially a festival that is synonymous with the festival of Eastern part of India amongst the Bengalis. However, these days this festival is celebrated with great gaiety all over India in different formats. The festival generally takes place in the months of either September or October. Goddess Durga is known by various names. Durga or Shakti symbolizes strength and righteousness and Her blessings are invoked for the triumph of good over evil, for well being, peace and prosperity.
